Industrial Area Phase I and II is the oldest industrial area of Pali commenced in 1979. According to the NGT order dated 20.08.2015, “RIICO Phase-I and Phase-II are yet to be connected to CETP. It is absolutely necessary that those industrial areas should also be connected through conduit pipes for connecting each industry to CETP. The said industries and the RIICO in consultation with the State Government shall install conduit pipelines expeditiously”. But, due to the large distance between existing CETP and the industrial sector, huge cost and the fact that this pipeline need to be passed through Pali City's main area, the laying of closed conduit pipeline was not practical. Therefore, in order to comply with the NGT order, District Monitoring Committee and the Industrialist subsequently proposed to construct a ZLD plant for industries of Industrial Area Phase 1 and 2 and formed Industrial Area CETP Foundation(Pali) on Jan’2020.
